Model College
On the basis of the award of the B+ grade by NAAC, the Govt. of Rajasthan has recognized this College as the model College. As the result of this, the college is being given the financial assistance for multi-directional improvement in terms of language lab, equipments, construction work, information and communication technology, laboratory staff training, networking etc.
With the allocation of the annual based financial assistance the governing has been actively about the overall development of the infrastructure in the college keeping in the view the master plan of the college prepared for the long term.
As the result, the academic progress of the college is being reflected in the students achievement in the examination and the teaching staff's achievement in its academic progress.
Centre for Excellence
Government P. G. College, Tonk is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. The college has been assessed on the basis of its performance in teaching and research to be accredited B+ by NAAC in the year 2005. The institution promises to fulfill the trust of the Commissionerate which has honoured us by selecting the institution as 'Centre for Excellence' and 'Model College' in the academic session 2008-09 along with 21 other
colleges.
The institution has been receiving financial assistance for multi-directional improvement in terms of Language Lab, equipments, construction work, information and communication technology, laboratory staff training, networking etc on a regular basis. The college administration has been actively committed to the overall development of the institution by utilizing the funds. As a result, the academic progress of the students as well as staff members is rapidly increasing.

नेशनल ग्रीन कोर्ट ईको क्लब
राजस्थान राज्य भारत स्काउट एवं गाइड्स संगठन को राजस्थान सरकार ने नेशनल ग्रीन कोर्ट संचालित करने के लिये नोडल एजेन्सी के रूप में मान्यता दी है। महाविद्यालय में नेशनल ग्रीन कोर्ट ईको क्लब का गठन किया है। सभी रोवर्स सदस्य है।
उद्देश्य :-
1. पर्यावरण एवं पर्यावरणीय समास्याओं के बारें में छात्रों को समझाना।
2. चेतना उत्पन्न करने के लिये छात्रों की प्रभावी भूमिका का उपयोग करना।

राजस्थान की यमुना `बनास´ के तट पर बसे टोंक जिला मुख्यालय पर स्थित पचपन वर्षीय जिले के एकमात्र बहुसंकायी राजकीय स्नातकोत्तर महाविद्यालय में आप सभी प्रवेशार्थियों का हार्दिक स्वागत है। इस वेबसाइट द्वारा नये विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय का परिचय एवं इसके नियमों एवं मर्यादाओं की जानकारी प्रदान की जा रही है, जबकि पुराने विद्यार्थियों को महाविद्यालय में हुए परिवर्तनों, विकास एवं संशोधित नियमों से अवगत कराने का प्रयास किया गया है।

हिन्दू-मुस्लिम संस्कृति के समन्वय का ज्वलन्त प्रतीक टोंक, राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर के दक्षिण पिश्चम में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 12 पर 100 किलोमीटर दूर बनास नदी के तट पर स्थित जिला मुख्यालय है। यह नगर प्रारम्भ में एक पहाड़ी `रसिया की टेकरी´ की तलहटी में बसा था जो पहले `टूकड़ा´ कहलाया, फिर `टूक´ और तदनन्तर टोंक के नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुआ। प्राचीनकाल से ही टोंक की यह धरा इतिहास में चर्चित रही है। सन् 1817 से 131 वर्षों तक विख्यात अमीर खां के वंशजों ने टोंक रियासत पर शासन किया। मई, 1948 में टोंक रियासत का राजस्थान राज्य में विलीनीकरण हो गया। यहाँ के दशर्नीय स्थलों में स्थानीय अन्नपूर्णा डूंगरी, रसिया की टेकरी, सुनहरी कोठी, अरबी-फारसी शोध-संस्थान, दयियाशाह की बावड़ी, पुरानी टोंक के जुड़वा मन्दिर-मस्जिद आदि प्रमुख है। यहाँ के पर्यटन स्थलों में टोडारायसिंह, राजमहल, बीसलपुर बांध, ककोड़ का किला, डिग्गी के श्री कल्याणजी, वनस्थली विद्यापीठ एवं अरबी-फारसी शोध संस्थान उल्लेखनीय है।
